What it is for

Scan Business Card (AI Smart Lens) turns a photo of a paper card into a saved contact. Each successful scan uses 1 AI credit. Works on Web, iOS, and Android, and the contact syncs with your CardySync account.

How to use

1. Open Scan Business Card

On Web, open Dashboard > Contacts > Scan Business Card. On iOS/Android, tap the Scan tab in the bottom navigation (or Scan Now on Home).

2. Check AI credits

Confirm you have at least 1 AI credit. Each scan uses 1 credit. Backend verification is authoritative. On mobile you can earn credits from eligible rewarded ads on Home when balance is low.

3. Choose or photograph a card

On Web, choose a JPEG or PNG image of the business card. On iOS/Android, take a photo with the camera or pick an image from your library. Keep the card flat, well lit, and fully in frame.

4. Upload and wait for AI OCR

Submit the image. CardySync uploads it and AI OCR extracts name, company, phone, email, and other details. Processing can take a short moment.

5. Review the saved contact

Open Contacts to review the new contact. Edit any field if OCR missed something, then save. You can also open the contact later from All Contacts.

Tips

  • Use a clear, straight-on photo with good lighting for better OCR accuracy.
  • Each scan uses 1 AI credit; failed uploads that never start OCR should not charge.
  • JPEG and PNG are supported on Web.
  • You can edit contact fields after OCR if any detail needs fixing.
